Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! Huntsville Christian Academy is accredited by the nationally recognized American Association of Christian Schools.

As a parent, choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. Our school is accredited by the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), a trusted national organization that has been supporting Christian education since 1972. With over 100,000 students and educators in its member schools across the country, AACS is known for upholding strong academic standards while fostering a Christ-centered learning environment.

AACS accreditation means our school is committed to educational excellence, spiritual development, and preparing students with a biblical worldview. You can have confidence knowing your child is receiving a high-quality education rooted in faith and truth.

Elementary classes are currently capped at 15 students while middle school and high school classes are capped at 20. HCA is one of the best values in Huntsville in terms of student to teacher ratio, assuring your student gets the attention they deserve.

Our school uniform consists of polo-style shirts for boys and girls in a variety of colors with the HCA logo embroidered on the left chest. Bottoms must be navy-blue, black or khaki.  Girls have options for dresses, scooters, and walking shorts. Boys may wear pants or walking shorts.

The complete dress code may be found in our Student Handbook.

An HCA Shadow Day is a fun and exciting opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a student at our school! Prospective students spend the day meeting our dedicated teachers, welcoming students, and friendly administration while getting a feel for our vibrant learning environment. Visiting students may bring their lunch or enjoy our hot and fresh school meal, prepared daily by our talented chef. Since we stay active throughout the day, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Modest attire is required—please wear pants without rips or holes and an appropriate t-shirt or polo. By the end of the day, you’ll have made instant friends, felt truly loved, and had a guaranteed great day at school!

HCA is a non-denominational school operating in partnership with area churches. If your church would like to partner with HCA, please contact us.

HCA is owned an operated by Vision Ministries Inc, a 501(c) non-profit. As a non-profit, Vision Ministries is governed by a Board of Trustees and has no shareholders or owners.
